We chose this cruise because it had an excellent itinerary of small ports along the coasts of Portugal, Spain, and France. Most other cruise lines only make one or two stops along these coasts. Also we had had an excellent experience with Silversea in Alaska so we expected the same this time. Not so.
Our primary problem was being given an inexperienced butler which we didn't understand until half was through the cruise so when she didn't answer her pages or was extremely slow we assumed that Silversea had cut down on their service.
The second problem was that dinner service was not available in any dining room before 7PM, and they have no dinner buffet or option for casual dining. Since the service in the dining room was extremely slow, it was impossible to finish eating early enough to get enough sleep before going on tour. They really seem to think that having their "guests" wear tuxedos is more important than meeting the needs of their passengers.
Pretty standard for a small suite category. Nice bath with somewhat larger shower than usual.
