Studied the internet with reviews and decided on the Coral based on size, dining, and itinerary. This was our first cruise and it was for our 30th anniversary so it needed to be special. We did the Princess Transfer from the airport to Whittier. We left Anchorage around 12pm and we were on the ship in less than 2 hours.
Going in early May it was too icy to get close to the Hubbard Glacier. I was disappointed but the next day in Glacier Bay made up for it.
In Skagway, we too the White Pass train ride.
In Juneau, we did the Whale watch trip with Juneau Tours.
In Ketchikan, we went salmon fishing with Bill Meck but ended up with Captain Jim Parrott. We didn't catch any fish so I'm thinking it was maybe too early for Salmon. The boat ride was lovely but kinda expensive for a tour of the bay.
The highlight of our trip aboard the Coral was the Chef's Table dinner. It was an amazing experience and well worth the extra $95.
I have 2 reviews with photos on our trip and the Chef's table. Here are the links.

Very nice suite. We really enjoyed our balcony for the tour of Glacier Bay. Getting to go to Sabatini's for breakfast every morning was a definite plus.
