My daughter and I returned from our cruise on June 12. We chose Viking because we were looking for a cruise we could take this summer and the Skirnir had a room for us. We did the Grand European tour. It was absolutely amazing and I would recommend it to everyone. The staff on board were exceptional and all the tour guides were great. We had a veranda room which was really nice as we could sit on our deck and watch the scenery go by. The meals were great- we ate at the buffet for lunch and the dining room for dinner. We met a lot of interesting people and enjoyed visiting with them at dinner time. Most tours were walking tours so we didn't feel we missed a fitness room.before we left we thought we would miss not having a hot tub and pool but we were busy enough that we never missed them. I don't think anyone could find a fault with the Viking Skirnir.

Lots of storage. We unpacked and left our suitcases under the bed.
