Cabin: Large Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

We like Royal Caribbean and the idea of leaving from a local port (Bayonne) was appealing. We were afraid the ship would be too large but it was comfortable- not at all overwhelming. The food and service were good. We did not like the need to quickly sign up for some shows- by Day 2 tickets to shows and special activities like iFly and the North Star were almost gone or gone. We checked in at 11:30- once on board we headed to the Windjammer to find it was completely closed and full- that was the only time we felt crowded out. One nice new feature is a band of sinks when you enter the Windjammer- our friends always hated the Purel- this was a nice option. We loved the iFly- there are also bumper cars and the flowrider we did not try. The Spa staff were excellent- casino staff not as friendly as other ships we were on. We liked the entertainment but were surprised that we did not enjoy the three big shows you needed tickets to attend. The had great special effects but no plot.

Cabin Review

Large Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

Cabin V1

I was anxious to try the virtual balcony and it was okay- better than no window at all. It could have been a bit brighter.
