The reasonable price got our attention so we thought we'd try a new cruise line. The itinerary was pretty good (with the exception of Nassau which is just ok). Our inside cabin was ok but there wasn't any type of chair except for a stool under the desk area. The ship was set up and decorated similar to many we've been on with the atrium area. The steps in the atrium area were very pretty and a great place for pictures. From other cruise critic reviews, I didn't expect the shows to be very good, but I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't attend the show the first night but enjoyed all the other shows in the main theater. I also wasn't sure how the food would be, but overall, it was good. I liked some of the different stations at the buffet such as Mediterranean, ethnic, healthy and pasta. I thought the food in the dining room was good, but my grown children who don't eat seafood thought the food wasn't as good as on other cruises. We travelled in three cabins with 11 family members including two 6-year olds, two 7-year olds and a 13-year old. The choices in food for the younger kids got to be pretty tiresome. They ate pizza and hot dogs almost every day. By the last day, they did offer ham and cheese sandwiches which was a welcome change. I wondered why macaroni and cheese or grilled cheese weren't on the kids' menu since they would be popular with young children.

We liked the drink packages and the $98 for 100 pictures package with the exception of the following: there was only one place where we could get formal pictures taken so it often meant long lines and no choice in backgrounds. We were also told by the photography studio that pictures taken at dinner or elsewhere on the ship wouldn't be included in the package. As it turned out, we were able to get pictures from dinner and embarkation. The worst thing about the pictures was that we ordered reprints from 10 of the best pictures and we not only did not get the reprints, but they lost the 10 originals! We spent over two hours at the photography studio on the last night (which was chaotic) and they tried to find our pictures but they never turned up. We ended up with about 80 pictures which was a good deal, but I'd warn others not to try reprints because of our bad experience.

Our cabin steward was friendly and helpful. We did have trouble with our toilet overflowing three different times and our electric went out one day. They sent people to take care of these issues, but the toilet problem went on for a couple of days. (Plumbers had to come 2 different days.) Our cabin steward made the traditional towel animals which our grandchildren enjoyed because their stewards didn't make them for their cabins.

It was OK for the money. How much time do you really spend in a cabin? The steward was very friendly. All the crew was very friendly and would great you.

We were in line for over 1.5 hours to register and get on the ship. With over 4,000 passengers it does take time.
