Caught a great deal for last-minute getaway and couldn't pass it up. The ships magnificent features in relation to its name are something most people probably didn't pay attention to but I found particularly fascinating and appreciated. Each level on the staircase either featured the history of a gem or a huge feature wall of sea life creatures. All of the artwork displayed on the boat - in the art gallery, the hallways to the state rooms, the Atrium installations - were really tasteful and beautiful.
The entertainment and activities onboard were a great variety and a lot of fun- so much so, that I could see how someone would not want to get off! We enjoyed many stage shows along with music in the lounges. Barry at the piano, Guitar with Bernie, Groove International, and the awesome jazz band were magnificent.
Food options are endless, where when one scheduled service would end, another would start elsewhere on the ship that there was in fact always something to munch on throughout the day. The afternoon barbecue poolside was a nice added treat that brought a lot of people together in the same space to enjoy.
Perfectly suited for the trip. Appreciate the option to make one bed out of 2. All the amenities you need are there, complete with closet and drawer space to set yourself up nicely for a week long home.
Quick onboard processing. From the time we dropped bag off to when we were onboard was less than 1 hour
