This was my first long cruise (a 3 day Carnival cruise to Ensenada was my first). This cruise was an amazing trip overall. I was travelling with 10 people (my parents (2 adults), my family (2 adults, 2 children ages 11 & 8, and my sister's family (2 adults, 2 children ages 5 & 3)).

Day 1: Our flight in to Vancouver came in later than expected so we boarded the ship just before sailing. Pro: no wait lines to go through customs. Con: no photos or time to relax before sailing.

Our room was fine. We had 2 rooms with a connecting door. My sister's rooms were next door to ours and our steward was able to unlock the balcony doors and create one long balcony spanning 4 rooms.

The rooms were fine. It was nice having the connecting balconies.
