Trying to get wife siblings to get on their first cruise. They live in Corpus Christi and Galveston was closest location to them. The sibling with special food needs was attended to as a queen with every one at the restaurants being extremely attentive to her food needs. Some of us hated the constant attempts to sell stuff either from the ship or from onshore shops. Some of the shows were rather amateurish; but all enjoyed the PG-rated version of the comedians show. The rest of our party avoided the R-rated version of the show by the same comedian which my wife and I loved. The food at the buffets was as expected for buffet food. There seemed to be some issues that appeared to be caused by postponed maintenance such as hot spots throughout the ships's common areas, flooded showers, air conditioning not working off and on in some cabins. The room service menu was very limited and downright terrible. The great majority of ship's crew was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive.
Small.
A multi-story mile long maze in super humid and hot weather from the point a car drops you off with your luggage until you finally you board the ship.
Nice sight-seeing tour of the city and Hell.
