We had a mini suite with a veranda. The room was very comfortable and was kept clean. The steward did an excellent job of meeting our needs. We asked for extra pillows and a top sheet on the bed and were readily accommodated. The food was good and the associated service was excellent. We had "anytime" dinning. We ate dinner in the Coral Dining Room. As early dinning is our custom we walked up between 5:30pm and 6:00pm and never had to wait for a table. On a couple of evenings we asked for a table for two with no problems. We ate one meal in The Crown Restaurant that had a $25 extra cover charge per person. We both had one of the best steaks we have ever had along with small lobster tails. The desert was fabulous and better than the deserts we had been getting in the dining room. We had much more than we could comfortably eat. We would recommend this for a special meal on the trip. The Buffet area on the Lido deck was average. It was often difficult to get a table for breakfast or lunch. There was a places to get ice cream, popcorn, hamburgers or pizza on the same deck. We enjoyed all our excursions. We enjoyed most visiting Newport and Bar Harbor. Riding on the Segway's in Newport was a especially memorable for us. The entertainment was also excellent and we enjoyed all the shows. The young people performing the dancing and singing were energetic and talented. The cruise director and his staff were informative and entertaining. The daily update by Dan (the cruise director) and Sam every morning kept us well informed as well as giving us an early morning chuckle. The only negative was the day in Boston that we waited in crowded hallways hoping to get off the ship. We waited over an hour on deck 6. Apparently, because of the condition of the tide only one gangway, rather than the two planned. To Princess' credit the excursions were held until the last person was able to leave the ship. We also had a delay leaving the chip in Halifax as one needed to board a bus after leaving the ship to get off of the dock. We will fondly remember this cruise, even though the fall colors were not yet bright. Maybe we will hit it right the next trip.

Cabin Review

Open closet for hanging clothes, two television, located close to the bow of the ship and somewhat rough at times, nice lounging area, nice balcony with nothing overhead. Would take it again.
