This was a wonderful cruise. We lucked out with great weather and visited amazing ports. We had early seating in the main dinning room and sat with a great group of people. The food was good and we didn't feel it necessary to eat in the specialty dinning venues. We enjoyed the entertainment and only felt one show was under par. Every night there was something fun happening in the centrum and on sea days they opened up space in the dinning room where people could play cards or other games.

2 days in St Petersburg was the highlight of this cruise. St Petersburg is not what I expected from Russia it is beautiful and busy with so much to see. All the ports were great and very Church and museum intensive, it is hard to remember where you saw what after a while. The history about World War II ran thorough the stories in all ports and I found this very interesting as I didn't realize what stories there were. The history in general was fascinating. We did all private tours with Alla Tours out of St Petersburg. Our core group was 11, who met on our Cruise Critic roll call. Several others from the roll call joined us on some of the tours. It was so easy to use the same tour company in all ports, we knew we would see all the important points of interest. Being with the same group of people allowed us to look out for each other and we could always tell the guide we were all there. The one port Alla Tours didn't have a tour was Aarhus Denmark so we went on our own to Den Gamle by, we also used the Hop On Hop Off Bus. Den Gamel Be was disappointing, the stories were created with manakins in historical settings. I thought there would be people demonstrating crafts from the past such as blacksmithing. All the cruise ports were very busy and usually I hate sea days but we needed them to rest up after our very interesting and exciting ports of call. The crew kept us busy and entertained at sea and the the entertainment included singing from our very talented captain. I loved this cruise and would recommend it, ports of call, Alla Tours and Royal Caribbean Vision Of The Seas.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

The cabins on this ship are larger than the cabins we have experienced on Carnival and Princess and it does have a tub with shower for those who prefer a tub. On Carnival we always get a balcony and Princess a junior suite but this cabin was half again as wide than either of those. This cabin is under the pool so we had walking and furniture sounds and of course running as people just can't walk. I would suggest deck 7 or a different location on this deck. It was also close to the centrum where they have evening entertainment and dancing, they close sound doors at 9;30 which they did remember to do most nights. We could only hear entertainment sounds in our bathroom so it didn't bother us at all. My husband doesn't care for duvets so we requested a regular blanket and our steward easily took care of that for us. The one thing we missed that we had on our last cruise was a laundry room to wash our own clothes. There is a laundry service but they wanted $35.00 for a small bag of clothes. we wound up washing clothes in the bathroom sink and hanging them in the bathroom. This cabin is center ship and we had one rough night but due to the location we didn't feel it.

Port Reviews

Tallinn

Very interesting little town and it was wonderful to hear their history

Aarhus

We rode the Hop On Hop Off Buss which we do a lot when investigating cities on our own. We stopped at Den Gamle be which is an old town museum that covers living through time. I was disappointed that there were not actual craftsman demonstrating crafts and people talking about life at different times.

Copenhagen

Saw the castles and had a short city tour including the Little Mermaid Statue
