Wow. What an amazing trip! Our party had 9 people - 5 immediate family, and 4 family friends (all adults). We've cruised before, but this trip was truly incredible. First off, our wait staff was AMAZING. Willy from Philly and Edwin - Table 179 in the Dining Room on deck 3. We had them all week, and they were so much fun! Murat was also there every single night to take orders for the next night because a couple of people in our party had food allergies. Willy showed us how to make napkin animals and was such a kind person. Edwin always had a smile on his face and brought us SO much bread. We look forward to dinner each night on our trips, and this trip was no different. Next, the Schooner bar. We made friends with Wilbert, an amazing bartender who kept us laughing all week. We spend a lot of time in the Schooner Bar, and got to know Wilbert and Pavos very well. They were constantly making new drinks for us to try, and we never had empty glasses. Clifford made some outstanding mudslides, too!
Our room attendant, Adrianna, was also outstanding. She left us adorable towel animals and was always around for a smile, a friendly face and to answer any questions. She was especially helpful when our neighbors room flooded OUR room in helping us clean it up and dry everything out.
We love to cruise and this ship was great (probably our favorite yet!), but the most amazing part of this trip was the staff that we met and interacted with. THEY made our trip as memorable as it was because they made us feel at home in the middle of the ocean. Hands down, best vacation yet. Thank you, Royal Caribbean! We had so much fun that I've already booked two more trips with this line!
We had a room off the aft of the ship, and it was stunning! Our neighbors smoked weed occasionally (which made it not so fun to be outside sometimes), but overall our room was great!
We had such a great time in Puerto Rico before we got on the ship! The people were nice, and there was plenty of rum!
We took a private tour on a bus with a local when we got on the island. Way cheaper than going through the ship excursions (we paid $20 each!), and we got to tour the Curacao factory for free!
We visited Eagle Beach by a private taxi. Our taxi driver was a blast, and the beach was stunning! It was very difficult, however, to find souvenirs or alcohol that were made in Aruba to take home. But the weather was great, and we had a blast!
The locals here were VERY pushy, but we loved the monkeys and being able to explore! Dufry's is always my favorite (and last) stop before getting back on the ship, and the weather was stunning!
It took us awhile to figure out how to get to the beach, and there wasn't much to do besides the kitschy shops in the main port. Beautiful weather, though!
