Went on the cruise with my daughter and granddaughters. The food was good, the melting chocolate gets a 10. All the staff we had were great. One of the things that I had a problem with was outside at one of the bars. There was a man smoking and we asked three different waiters to tell him it was a no smoking area. After smoke in our face and not one waiter went over to him, my daughter told the bar tender and he went right over and told him it was a no smoking area. At the pool there were two girls smoking while sitting with feet in the water. At the two dress up nights why were there people in baseball cap, men in sleeveless tops, jeans with wholes in them and even some cover ups with flip flops on. What I read that was not allowed in the dinning room and especially on dress up night. I also did not like being forced to tip speaking of the 90 dollars on my bill times 4 my daughter myself and two granddaughters. I thought that was a personal matter and the decision was left up to you. I personally tipped on this cruise and all cruises I have been on. I put cash in the hand of all who waited on us on top of the 15% that was added to our bill. So I feel the extra 400 dollars that was added to our bill was not a personal matter but money that went where. I don't know that any of the people that waited on us got any of that. That is why I personally took care of our tips. I don't feel that people who tip should have to pay for those who don't.
We had two excursions one was the Jolly Roger it was GREAT from start to finish. The other one was Goffs Caye Barrier Reef snorkeling and beach express. Horrible. I was handed a life jacket with no belt to fasten. My daughter asked for another one and was told you don't need the belt. She said yes you do so they brought one over and gave it to me she had one with no belt. There were others without belts also. It should have been canceled because the water was to rough. Some people we asked about how it was they said it was bad. Not one fish and the water was so rough it keep getting in the airway. Two were pushed up against the coral because of rough water. Coming back to ship no life jackets were handed out. That is not right.
The cabin was an average ship cabin. The towel animals were very cute. Our steward was very good.
