We love Royal Caribbean, and have been on the Oasis of the Seas before. I need to keep this a bit short, but can give you enough details to hopefully help you make your own decision. In all, we were very pleased with our experience, minus a few small gripes that are hardly worth mentioning. So assume everything was great, but here's a few small things that we noticed (keep in mind, we sailed on the Oasis four years ago)

- While the food was fantastic in all areas, the variety in the main dining hall was starting to lack in variety after the third night. Each night a few new things would be added, but about 85% of the menu seemed to be much like the night before. Granted, there's still plenty to choose from, but we would like to see bigger-newer options as the nights progressed in the main dining hall. We went to the Windjammer Thursday for dinner and found a massive selection for dinner, we were thrilled! After five other cruises with Royal, this is the first time we skipped out on the dinning room (or specialty restaurant) and decided to check out the Windjammer for dinner. Not only was it not very crowded, the food was great. After formal night on Friday, we ate dinner there again on Saturday and loved it.

- The shows were top notch, they really where. Only thing is that other than Cats (fantastic show, btw) they are duplicates from four years ago. The water show with the umbrella, the ice skating show with Hans Christian Anderson's stories featured and Come Fly With Me. I'm NOT saying they were bad shows at all, just...familiar. We were having such a good time, and it was our 20th wedding anniversary so we just didn't care.\

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Cleaned each day, minus the carpet. It was never vacuumed over the 7-day cruise, but we figured he must have been very busy and didn't say anything. Everything else was great!
