Booked a cruise directly thru Carnival's website. I think we did pretty well getting a decent room for the four of us (mother, cousin, daughter and myself. This trip was a combination birthday gift for cousin and a college send-off for my daughter.

The ship itself is actually very nice for the age that it is. I can't say enough about the excellence of the crew. Very professional, courteous, etc. Our steward was great. The cabin accommodate the four of us quite nicely - (2) regular beds, a bunk and a roll-away (a little on the short side, but comfortable).

The things that brought the trip down for me were the partiers. Whether they were early 20s up to their 40s, these folks depicted the "ugly American" to the maximum. On the ship or in Ensenada, the drunken escapades and rudeness (incessant f***g this and f***ing that)help keep the "ugly American" reputation going. These folks should be proud - I guess.

Nice window, bathroom fully functional and clean, plenty of storage for 3 nights.
