I decided to head to Havana, Cuba to experience a place that few Americans have had the opportunity to see since the early 60's.

We departed Miami, Florida on the Norwegian Sky and headed for Havana, Cuba. The ship was in great shape and well maintained. The Cruise Director's Staff was excellent. We participated in many on-board activities with Marta, and had a great time participating, and getting to know her. The food on board was good, but nothing more than any other cruise line I've been on. The service on the boat was A+. All but the Shore Excursions staff was great to interact with.

I did a ton of research in regards to money exchange, duty fees, etc. and was expecting a stressful trek through the Cuban Immigration with the items I purchased while in Cuba. I will say that most of the information I found through my research was related to traveling through the airport, and may very well be accurate, but as for the cruise line it was dramatically different.

The cabin was nice, and clean. The steward went above and beyond to accommodate our requests.
