We chose this cruise to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We had cruised to Alaska with NCL 1 1/2 years ago and really enjoyed it so we thought to do it again. We were not disappointed. This was our 4th trip on the Pearl and everything was just perfect. The room, the staff and the food could not have been better. We used the specialty restaurants as well as the main dining and buffet and were not disappointed by a thing. We traveled with friends and they are a bit picky with their food and they had no complaints, either. If you ordered something and didn't like it, they would bring a replacement. No rush at dinner and the food service was terrific. The highlight was the day spent at Glacier Bay. We saw the glaciers calving and saw some spectacular scenery. We had a forward facing room and really got up close and personal with the glaciers we saw. Entertainment was very good. We have already booked another 4 NCL cruises. The Freestyle Cruising fits our lifestyle. This was our 13th cruise on NCL and we see no reason to change.

Cabin Review

Penthouse with Large Balcony

Cabin SE

Cabin was large and well appointed. It had been upgraded during the recent freshening and it showed. Our steward was terrific as was our butler.
