We chose the cruise for its destination to St.Petersburg, especially the tour to the Hermitage, late leaving ship, customes nightmare, eta at Hermitage 9.00am arrived at 10.30am due to taxi crashing in to us than having to walk several blocks to get there, when we arrived could not move, it was chock a block with people, total waste of time. then told we had to walk in the rain due to bus unable to move so as we could remove items left on bus. rainsoaked removed items got on replacement bus and low and behold the bus that could not move drove away?????? We booked early for the best deal and after speaking to many on board we paid approximately double that of others missing out on the delux drinks package and onboard spend. We felt badly treated and let down. The cabin was tired, the food is bland, the entertainment is not as good as they think they are! the ship is money orientated and I am sure they would accept blood when you run out of money. The service staff are great, the shore excursion staff could all do with extra training, learning things like putting up notices for changed departure venues or even making announcements for the same to save the weary traveller walking from one end of the ship to the other and back.

Do not book early
