The ship was smaller than ones I've been on before and I wasn't crazy about the Centrum layout (I prefer the Promenade on the larger ships), but I loved the location of our cabin on Deck 3 Aft. The best thing about this cruise was the number of ports/cities visited and the fabulous excursions offered at each one. We even got to go to Berlin! And spent 3 days in St. Petersburg! We participated in a lot of the onboard activities too. Music trivia every night was a lot of fun, as was Finish the Lyric and the Dance Contest. I also enjoyed the talk on Russia and the shows were pretty good. I really enjoyed the classical pianist, the comedian, and the juggler. We had the best waiter EVER too - Vladimir from Peru was amazing. He really made my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary special, as well as my nephew's 13th birthday. This was a fantastic vacation for all 10 people in our group.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin I

Perfect room and location! It was only 1 deck above the gangway which made for quick exits. It was far enough away from common rooms that it was extremely quiet. The Centrum was extremely easy to get to since it was only 1-2 decks above on the same end of the ship (aft). I also liked that I could take a shortcut by walking down the hall and quickly take a seldom-used interior elevator to get to locations on the front of the boat. Best location of a cabin ever! Plus it had a nice big porthold window and great blackout curtains for those white nights.
