This was the first cruise that my husband and I took together. We had each only been on one cruise before and that was during college, which was a little while ago! We selected Oceania based on the size of the boat and all of the positive feedback on the dining.

We had a room on the Concierge Level and were located close to the Concierge Lounge. The room was nicely appointed. We felt that we had enough space in the room and the mattress / bedding was particularly comfortable. While we like the concierge level, we questioned if we would book it on future trips. The main advantages for us were being able to make dining reservations ahead of time, the bottle of champagne in our room upon arrival, and access to the Canyon Spa veranda.

We had the opportunity to eat in all of the restaurants on the ship, including the dinner at La Reserve. While we enjoyed all of the restaurants, Toscana and Jaques were our favorites. On our day at sea we were fortunate to enjoy dinner at La Reserve. We sat at a table with three other couples and our table got along so well! The evening started with a cocktail on the veranda and the we progressed through a seven course meal with wine pairings. While La Reserve comes at an additional cost, it was our favorite experience on the boat!
