Sail Date: May 2017
Cabin: Deluxe Balcony

Based on our experience this ship was not designed for guests. Its was designed to cram as many guests as possible into a small space. We have found other cruise ship lines that are far better suited to the comfort of all their guests, not just the elite.

Insufficient seating was the norm in the Buffet restaurant. Unless you arrived 30 minutes to the start of a meal. Otherwise you are always searching for a place to be seated. As for the dining rooms, good luck with booking a reservation for a seating. fyi: the three dining restaurants have the same menu for the day.

The service, and food quality is any where from excellent to not fit for a dog.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Balcony

The balcony cabin itself was acceptable in size. the shower was very tight/small. The closet was more of a walk-in in closet with no doors.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

Our Self Guided tour was more intensive than the paid City Tour

Oslo

Self-guided walking tour - unfortunately just another city.

Tallinn

Self-guided walking tour - well worth the visit. At least this town has many historical structures and cobblestone streets. No more than a 30 minute walk to the old town from the cruise ship dock. Well worth a visit and future return.

Helsinki

Self-guided walking tour - unfortunately just another city.

Stockholm

Self-guided walking tour - Another city that we found enjoyable and well worth a future visit.
