We wanted to visit the destinations on this cruise all the destinations visited were excellent . Royal Caribbean standards have dropped dramatically since our last cruise with them . Formal nights dress code was not adhered to lots of passengers in shorts and tee shirts this is unfair to the passengers who have made the effort.. Royal Caribbean now only suggest that the evening is a formal night .The food in the main dinning room standard has dropped dramatically now only 3 course. You are now bombarded with staff and leaflets delivered to your cabin trying to get you to use the specialist restaurants with a cover charge this is probably why the standard of food in the main dining room has dropped . you are also pestered by the ships photographers all the time to a point where it gets very annoying. All sorts of leaflets delivered to your cabin promoting the very high spa prices etc . We binned a total of over 40 leaflets delivered to our cabin on a 12 day cruise this is unacceptable . . The cabin we had on deck 10 cabin 1285 a virtual balcony cabin was quite small the virtual balcony was better than an inside without one. This cabin has a quite loud air con noise coming from behind the rear wall in the cabin but ok if you used ear plugs tho block out the noise . The entertainment in the headliners theatre was very good although some of the show times had very poor start times ie 7.30pm when 1st siting dining was on and then 9.15pm when 2nd sitting dinning was on this made it very difficult for second sitting diners to attend the shows why? All the other entertainment seemed to be quizzes all run at very awkward times the circus parade was held at 17.45 pm just when we were leaving port when most passenger wanted to be on deck to see us depart .Only one sail away party on deck the first night. virtually if fact no main deck entertainment only films that most of us had not heard of and had about 10 passengers watching them . The service on board was quite water in the main dinning room very good but a lack of bar staff on the decks most of the time there was a lot of people waiting at the bars to be served . all in all we went on the cruise for the ports of call which were very good at the right time of year . the cruise ship standard has dropped almost to to the point of being a holiday camp atmosphere
