This was a 5-night land tour followed by a 7-night cruise.

LAND TOUR

This was a 5-night land tour: two nights in Fairbanks, one in Denali, and two at Mt. McKinley. The land tour is very good, as long as you like to pack, unpack, get up early, and shlep from hotel to bus, bus to train, train to bus, and bus to hotel. It got very old after a few days, but that is not due to anything Princess did wrong. In fact, the tour was extremely organized and efficient - it was really seamless (until the last day - more in the next paragraph) and we were amazed that they could move so many people every day or other day so efficiently. We didn't have to wait in lines, we didn't have to lift our luggage, and we were always greeted with smiles and good service. Princess has it down to a fine science and this operation is very impressive.

Cabin Review

Cabin D

This was a mini-suite. Plenty of closet space and storage. HUGE bathroom and bathroom counter. The tile is dated and old, and they still have the old shower curtain instead of a door on the tub, which is a negative. Roomy cabin, comfortable beds, two TV's, abundance of mirrors, good lighting, ideal location. Plenty of room on the balcony; two reclining lawn chairs and two upright ones with a small table. We highly recommend this area of the ship and this cabin.
