Peeling paint

Wanted to check out the western Caribbean. The ship itself was nice and after taking a cruise last July on her sister ship to Alaska we were a little disappointed with this ship. Our cabin was ok though small and the balcony area had lots of peeling paint on the overhead. Booked a few outings through the cruise line, Beware the "Catamaran Snorkel and Sail" in Cozumel is really a booze cruise. 20 min of snorkeling a dead reef and 3 hrs of loud music and drinking. The "Catamaran Sail and Swim with the stingrays" in Grand Cayman was GREAT! Wonderful crew, nice sailing time and nice boat with large trampolines to lay in. Dinning was adequate though not great! Didn't feel the food was as good as the Alaska cruise. The servers were top notch as were the entertainment and shows. Did not like constantly being badgered to buy additional drink packages, food packages, etc. I realize this is how they make their money out would prefer to pay more for a cruise and not be badgered.

Cabin Review

AquaClass 1

Cabin A1

Cabin kind of small. Not much storage for clothes. No electrical receptacles by the bed. Had to get an extension cord for a bedside fan or C-Pap machine. Refrigerator did not work. Deck 11 has large overhang above balcony. Paint peeling and falling off. This room is beneath the inside pool deck. Lots of noise and banging when activities are being used at all hours of the night. Overall not happy with this room though the cabin steward was great.
