This cruise was arranged by a travel agent friend. We enjoyed every part: the shuttle from Anchorage to the boat dock, the cabin, food, activities, ports of call, efficient embarkation and debarkation and the congenial staff. The room was equivalent to a upscale hotel room with private bath.
The ship diagrams posted all over helped us get around. The overall route maps in the crows nest were informative. The food was plentiful and we always managed to find a place to sit, even at the busiest times. Crew members constantly greeted us with smiles and seemed happy to answer any questions we had.
There were plenty of activities to appeal to varying interests, and the days at port were leisurely We did not have to wait to get on and off the ship.
The crew did their best to prevent illnesses by providing plenty of hand sanitizing stations, and periodically disinfecting handrails.
We were only in Seward long enough to board the ship. The process was well-organized.
Beautiful view of the glaciers. We were able to follow our progress on the maps.
We took a self-guided walking tour of the city
We bought a combo ticket for unlimited rides on the tram to the top of the hill, plus a shuttle to Mendenhal Glacier.
