Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2A

We chose this cruise because of the budget, and a desirable itinerary. The embarkation procedures at Seward seem a little bit disjointed, if not amateurish. Having to pull up on the city shuttle bus only to be told to drag your check-aboard luggage a hundred yards across the gravel parking lot was a new experience. Not a pleasant one. I like to drop the luggage at the curb with a porter and go on through the building. I can only imagine how this experience would play out in the frequent rains of Seward.

The views along this cruise's itinerary are stupendous. I never got tired of snowcapped mountains and treed shorelines. Hubbard Glacier was amazing. Juneau was a joy. Don't miss the tram ride.

Skagway was entertaining in a natural kind of way. We liked the gardens more than the tourist traps.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2A

Cabin 2A

Nice size cabin with lots of storage. The balcony was of ample size, though the maintenance of paint and the teak rail has been neglected. The shower was huge. We miss having movies on TV. $15 is too much unless I'm buying them to own.
