This was a great itinerary although a change in ports at the beginning messed up a lot of peoples plans for D Day and the Normandy Beaches.

Ship was great, service was wonderful except for Qsine, after dining in this venue on 5 ships this was the worst experience, and we were a group of 13 planned in advance. Service was sketchy, brought food too fast and in too big quanitites.

And one of the best parts, Strawberry Fields, was skipped at dessert time...when we ordered deserts it was like the entire staff disappeared, no where to be found!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 1B

Cabin 1B

Great room, quiet and comfy with extended balcony. Nicely laid out, beds next to veranda door, always love the storage over the bed!

Plenty of room to store our stuff in the cabin.

Port Reviews

Amsterdam

We did a wine and cheese evening tour of the city, unfortunately it only provided wine and cheese and minimal information. Would've loved to learn something about what we were seeing...very long (2 hours)!

Le Havre

Having done Normandy beaches we opted to go to Giverny to tour Monet's gardens and it was glorious! Was able to hire a taxi with English speaking driver, in advance, and he was excellent! Spent 3 hours at the Gardens (where I had also hired a private guide) and then he took us to Rouen on the way back...was a gorgeous day and the tour was wonderful!

Liverpool

Loved this city and would definitely go again! Did a walking tour with Brilliant Tours, was 5 hours and very well done, got to see all the highlights (sorry we didn't have time to have a drink in the Cavern to experience the ambiance and music!) and the second half was by coach so we got a respite from all the walking!

Dublin

Had a private tour scheduled that took us to a lot of the important areas in city center and gave us the history of the city and interaction with Scotland and UK...afterwards we went to Guiness Storehouse for the tour but it was so crowded we got our free pint and left!

Cobh (Cork)

Had booked a private group tour with Butler's Buses to Ring of Kerry and it was excellent! Guide, John Stapleton, was so knowledgeable and interesting and easy to 'tweak' aspects of the day with.

Ship arrived and we lost 2 hours on departure but they were able to accommodate and we still saw all we wanted to...beautiful area!!!
