To enjoy the MOFO festival, and visit Hobart and as we had previously enjoyed a cruise on Pacific Pearl, which we really loved, we found Jewel a disappointment. The cabin was very clean, but looking dated, along with most of the ship.

Our cabin staff and Pantry staff and Waterview staff were really excellent, but the food in the Pantry was poor and mostly served warm or cold. The Waterview menu was poor, but the night we spent in Salt was truly first class.

The Dome was a good place to sit and read and enjoy a drink or coffee, and the Cafe nice and quiet for after dinner drinks.

The cabin was very clean and a good size but looking dated.
