We chose this location to experience the lower Mississippi River and the antebellum homes and plantations of the American South. American Cruise Line was recommended by our travel agent. Turned out to be a perfect choice for us. We had some itinerary changes because of the high river level that were very well dealt with by the staff. Very nice room with private balcony (almost all rooms include a private balcony). Our room was on the second deck which was a bit less expensive. It had very nice view and was very convenient to all activities. Our boat had elevator access to all levels. We had excellent entertainment every night, great meals and meal choices and extremely personable and accommodating staff - our meal time waitress was a highlight of the trip and the Captain was eager to answer our questions about the boat and the river. We also met some wonderful fellow travelers. Great time. We will use American Cruise lines again.

Felt like a small but very nice hotel room.
