Wonderful cruise except for Bar Harbor. Terrible tendering experience to town. The cheapskates that live there are certainly wealthy enough to build a proper dock for a big ship, and until they do, all cruise ships should spend that precious day on Prince Edward Island. The town is boring enough anyway.

Our cabin and the servicing steward Kadek were very nice and we were always pleased to return to "home". Halifax city was a pleasure to just walk around in. The public gardens were a joy and we found an excellent sushi restaurant for a quick snack. We really wished we could have spent another day there than wasting one in Bore Harbor with their ridiculously overpriced ice cream joints that gave the tiniest amounts possible. St John was an unexpected surprise and we had a drink and some lobster at an old Irish bar, Callahan's. Portland is a comfy city and friendly. The dining on the waterford there is overly pricey for very little servings. Two blocks inland off the waterfront and you'll find very nice cafes where you won't feel ripped off. Just sayin'

Port Reviews

Halifax

Just a great city!!!

Bar Harbor

Boring place. Rich cheapskate harbor. The city should pay for the tenders since they refuse to build a proper dock for the ship. Cruise lines should ignore and spend the day at Prince Edward Island.

Portland (Maine)

Wonderful atmosphere. Walking great. First class museum. Good food.
