Our friends, who are regulars, asked us to try a cruise with them and what a fabulous time we had. We appreciated the smaller ship and of course all the amenities. The crew was wonderful from the very outset and having a butler to supply anything we wanted, was a real highlight. The food was wonderful and we had such a great time poolside at The Grill, that we ate there 3 times in a week. Dining at La Tarraza, as we sailed from the port, was truly an unforgettable experience. My spouse has gluten allergies which can be a tough ordeal when traveling, but Silver Seas really impressed us. Each of the restaurants had multiple offerings and let me brag again on the butler. He brought a gluten free lunch to go for each shore excursion, which proved to be invaluable and removed the stress of finding an appropriate lunch location.
The cabin was just right for our needs. We really appreciated all the little design items especially the blackout drapes that can be used to separate the sleeping area from the sitting room. Being able to ask the butler for a pot of coffee, pull the drapes and enjoy the morning sunrise (while not waking our later sleeper with bright sunshine), was perfect.
