Well, we’ve done it, but won’t be doing it again!!!!!

On arrival at Heathrow, we were met by a rep, together with another couple from Manchester, and then we had to wait for over an hour for another flight from somewhere, before we were loaded into a coach, and spent over 2 hours on the M25.  On arrival at the port, we had to be ferried across the Thames to get on the boat.  Total journey including waits at airport etc. 9 hours.  We could have gone on the train and underground in under 4!

On arrival our cabin was freezing.  We changed the air con to hot and went for some food.  By the time we returned to our cabin in time to get ready for dinner, it was still freezing.  First trip to reception. Read more
