All in all, I would not take Norwegian again, average at best, low value for money. More details below.

We chose this cruise as my wife wanted to see Norway, after some searching we found a cruise that was about 1/3 less than Norwegian but the Norwegian and Jade reviews suggested it was worth the extra $$.

We have been on a few other cruise lines before and generally felt pampered almost beyond our comfort level. Norwegian was generally adequate with mostly friendly staff however, the food was quite repetitive and average at best in the buffet and O'sheehans. Selection was low for a cruise buffet, quality was low to average. We ate in the grand pacific a few times (we traveled with our 2 year old, so long dinners were sparse) and it was better quality food, service was reasonable but far from exceptional and even this menu was limited in selection. I honestly could find food in my sleepy town that far outdoes any on the Jade for quality and value.

Under loud teen area, not for those who are early to bed.
