We expected something similar to the Epic and were sorely disappointed. The rooms felt smaller and the layout was not flowing. Surprisingly, everything felt smaller, I am not sure what they were going for in their design. As for service, again, NCL missed the mark. Nearly across the board, the crew seemed apathetic to the needs/wants of the guests. The high points were the spa and the restaurant manager who through a happy demeanor and service made a dismal cruising experience bearable.
Food in the Garden Cafe was poor, and service in savor was slow. We attempted the specialty restaurants and were pleasantly surprised with Ocean Blue and Cagneys did not disappoint. Moderno and La Cucina were ok, but nothing to write home about.
After enjoying the circ style shows in the past, we were excited about the dreams and steams show. Enjoyable, however, seemed like a rehash of previous shows with new costumes and rather than a dinner show, it was dinner, a long wait, and then a show.
Lots to do here. Had a couple days on the front and back end and had a great time
Small town, based on length of stay, any travel to Berlin was impossible (5 hrs in port) very disappointing
Very small city, not much to do here beyond the market. Also ship docked 25 miles away and required you to purchase a $15 pp ticket for a bus ride
The port you are dropped at is not Stockholm, it is actually a small town more than an hour by train from Stockholm. ( and the train station is over a mile from the docks with no transportation). You do not get to cruise through the archipelago as advertised. Time on the ground is extremely rushed since Soto much time is eaten up by trying to find transportation
