We have travelled on various Msc ships, and really enjoyed the experience. This is their first venture into large ships, and they haven't got it right.
The buffet area seating increases in size, but the service area has not, its chaos at peak times. They have done away with the bar lounges and made them open plan, its lost the atmosphere totally, and the service is terrible, as again the bars cannot cope with the volume of staff, who are under great pressure. No dedicated coffee lounge, unless you want to pay ( not part of All Inclusive anymore).
The Cirque show has to be paid for at a charge of 15 euros plus service charge, and unless you book early, you won't get in either.
Lots of new pay restaurants, that always seem empty.
Sorry but a bad experience, the queues for reception are up to an hour wait, and the staff at the desks are not helpful.
Hope nobody gets cabin 8195, awful noises from somewhere, but nobody wants to help you sort it.
The choice of food in the buffet has gone down, the salad bar is mundane, the breakfast is identical everyday.
