We chose this cruise because Port Canaveral is close to where we live and we wanted to sail on a big ship, the Oasis of the Seas. The week before the cruise both of us suffered leg injuries so our mobility was limited. We elected to stay on board the ship and enjoy what they have to offer. We loved the walk in the park (8) and the Promenade deck (5). The shows were OK but we missed the diving show which we understand is great. Bingo was fun but the room where it is held is poor. Most people cannot see the board and have to rely on TV monitors to see the numbers called if you can see that far.

We were in a mini-suite and got to eat dinner in the Coastal Kitchen which is more private than the main dining room and the food is excellent. We also ate at Giovanni's Italian restaurant which was excellent. The Windjammer was extremely crowded most of the time due to the large number of passengers but the food was very good and the service was good also. We selected any time dining and we did eat several meals in the main dining room which was excellent. The mini-suite on this ship is almost 300 square feet with a very nice balcony. The in room cable system is still lacking if you want more that one news channel (CNN).

Junior Suite with Balcony

Cabin JS

The cabin was large and very spacious. Balcony was beautiful. The attendant was excellent and he took care of every thing that we needed promptly.
