We sailed on the Eurodam up the inside passage to Glacier Bay in Alaska, stopping in Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka, and Victoria. The embarkation and disembarkation processes were seamless and well organized. We stayed in cabin 6076 which is a Signature Suite. The room was spacious with a nice sitting area, the bathroom was immense (by cruise ship standands) with a shower/bath, a separate shower, and two sinks, and the balcony easily and comfortably held 5 of us (seating for 2) for viewing the glaciers in Glacier Bay. The service in the cabin was good with thorough and timely servicing of the room, as well as morning and night restocking of ice. We signed up for the unlimited laundry service which was fast (submit before 8A, back that night) but they seemed to be trying to discourage you from submitting multiple loads. They provide a laundry bag for you to stuff with clothes but after the first submission, they did not bring it back so if you wanted to submit more loads, you had to keep requesting new bags. The food was great in both the dining room and the buffet although the buffet was usually mobbed and it was often difficult to find a seat. We particularly loved the smoked salmon at breakfast, yum! We also ate in the Tamarind one night which was incredible and well worth the extra cost of $25 per person. If you like Asian food, it is HIGHLY recommended. The Tamarind bar right outside the restaurant is also a lovely place to have a cocktail while enjoying the view. We also really enjoyed the Crows Nest bar. Friendly and helpful staff and stunning views. Our only real complaint about the cruise is that it is definitely not geared towards socializing or partying. There was no real "parties" so to speak. I am accustomed to music and fun when you are leaving port or a midnight dance party at least one night of the cruise and there was no such activities on this cruise. Further, we were a middle aged party of 5 and we like to drink but it was sometimes difficult to find a bar that was open. In fact, the last night after a port stop in Victoria from 7P-11:30P, the only bar on the entire ship where we could get a drink was the casino bar and their last call was at 1A. Overall, I would recommend this ship and this cruise for adults who are looking for high quality accommodations and food but aren't expecting to interact too much with other passengers.
