Cabin: Mid-Ship Inside

First time on Norwegian Spirit but have been twice on her sister ship Superstar Virgo when it was owned by the same line out of Singapore. Knowing the layout of this ship made it so easy to get around. I had cabin 5063 which I selected myself. Inside cabin and I asked for the two twin beds to be set up as being a solo traveller it gave me more space to walk around. Bathroom was very clean and no damage since it was a 20 year old ship. My cabin girl Zorica was just beautiful and kept it very clean and anything I wanted was not a problem.

I had read all the reviews mostly bad ones. I honestly can't understand people. Every meal I had in Windows and The Gardens were nice and full of flavour and not salty. Ate in the Buffet once at lunch and was not impressed. Ate breakfast two mornings and was fine. Ate two nights and the choice was good and the meals were good. Was not impressed with the pool buffet on sea days. Sides left a lot to desire. Ate at the chinese restaurant once and the snack bar once, both were okay.

I found all the staff to be friendly and helpful except when you wanted info about going ashore if you were booked other than the ships tours. One staff member was most helpful one day and I thanked him for it. The next stop the staff were better with info. On the Superstar Virgo they had times where they would give you info and hints on shore activities whether you booked their tours or did your own. Would have loved to had this also on the Norwegian Spirit.

Cabin IE

I picked this cabin mainly because there was no restaurant above it and no noise to keep you awake. It took three selections before I got it right. The staff in Sydney office picked the first two cabins and I checked the deck plans myself and came up with the cabin I had. Lesson here do your homework first and don't let the staff pick your cabin.
