I have wanted to cruise the Mississippi River for several years and I liked the American Cruise Lines information I read. We left from New Orleans, after staying and touring one night in the great city, and disembarked in Memphis, TN.

From the first day to the last day of the trip, everything was just great!! The whole ship was clean, the cabin was like a hotel room (bathroom a little small), the dining experience was excellent, the onboard activities, entertainment, tours and excursions were really good.

We were greeted at the hotel by a cruise staffer, helped by deckhands with our luggage, and taken to the ship, and everything was so organized. From the time we were greeted on board by a cruise director to the time we disembarked and said goodbye to the gangway deckhand, every cruise member were the best!! They were friendly, always smiling, always willing to help, answer our questions, or just to hang out with us during the sunsets when they were off duty to tell us about their past cruises on the river. Even the Captain, when he was off duty, would stop, chat for a few minutes and answer questions. He sat at our table during the Captain's Dinner night, which was a pleasant surprise.

Cabin Review

Cabin AAL

The cabin was like being in a hotel, with an excellent river view. It was clean and the bed was turned down while we were at dinner. Even though we thought the bathroom was small, it was also clean. We loved the sliding glass door onto the balcony, which held a small table and two chairs. There was plenty of drawers and hangers for our clothes. And the bed was real comfortable!!
