It was our first cruise and we loved it! We really happy we chose the Norwegian Gem.
Even though this time of the year there aren't too many young people cruising, we were able to meet some young people and party together.
I highly recommend you to get Ultimate Beverage Package, we saved a lot of money. Most of drinks cost less than 12$ and we had a great time enjoying our drinks. We were even able to take a LOT of bear to play "beer pong:" and "flip cup".
Room was clean, housekeeping people were very nice and friendly.
Food was great. We went to every single restaurant on the ship and liked them all.
There was a couple of things we got disappointed with: first of all the rock climbing wall was closed down for the entire cruising time, second we were invited to fitness center for a complimentary posture evaluation and ended up spending an hour listening for a guy that wanted to sell us some kind of inner soles for shoes to fix our posture lol.
Overall LOVED IT!

Nice, clean. Even though the ocean view was obstructed, we just needed a little bit of daylight to see what's going on outside.
