We flew down to Ft. Lauderdale the day before embarkation. We were on the ship by 11:30. Rooms are not ready until early afternoon so we walked around the ship a bit and then changed into swim suits and went to one of 4 main pools on deck 15. When we went to our stateroom at 1:00 our luggage was already there! Typically we don't get luggage until early evening!
Our room steward was great, as were our head waiter, waiter and assistant waiter. Definitely tens across the board for all of them! Very service oriented, always asking if we wanted them to do anything differently.. We ate in the main dining room every night.
The shows were amazing: the Aqua Show, Blue Planet, (don't miss it!) and the Headliner Show, Impact.
Loved the balcony! We did not like that the closet was next to the bed instead of the bathroom like on other ships. It was hard to get into since it was crowded next to the bed. Love the night light in the bathroom, (the light dims when you turn it off, never completely going off so we left the door ajar at night for a little light). The sink is small of course but there is a glass shlef above the sink that hangs out over a bit. It was very difficult to wash my face in the sink since one can't get much of their face over it! It ended up spilling water all over the floor when I would wash my face at night. Next time we will look into getting connecting staterooms instead of having all 4 of us in one room. Someone told us that it's not much more to get 2 staterooms instead of 1! I figured it would be double!
