My wife and I are both Diamond Elite and take the weekend (3 night) cruise at least 20 times per year originally on the Enchantment of the Seas (a fantastic ship) and since April 2016 it was replaced by Majesty of the Seas. The Majesty is old, outdated, and lacks the desired amenities; especially indoor pool and sauna, staterooms with balconies, upscale dining, and late night food offerings.
The Majesty has the friendliest and most passionate officers and directors; especially Shane Palmer, Crown & Anchor Loyalty Ambassador; and Mo from "Fiji" Entertainment Director.
Breakfast is chaotic topped off with terrible service and bad attitudes; whether it be in the Main Dining Room or Windjammer.
The refrigerator is under the make-up area and its cord plugs into the receptacle above the drawers making it difficult to open the drawers. The sink does not drain. We did complain to the stateroom attendant and Guest Services (nothing was done). We did not get our selected beverage (Diet Coke) as a Diamond Elite. Again we complained to no avail. There was constant banging / maintenance outside our window.
We live in Central Florida and find it very convenient to drive to Port Canaveral, Park, and exit the Terminal.
We did the tourist thing too many times; so we stay on the ship and lay-out by the pool and hot tub.
