We chose this cruise because it fit the week all members of the family were available for a family vacation. The ship is much smaller than past cruises. We were disappointed that it did not have the Solarium area that the other ships have. Next cruise I will pay more attention to the ship features before booking. Overall it was still very nice. The evening shows were all very good. We had fun at the Bingo games. The best part was the shore excursion we took in Cozumel. It was the Underground Mayan River and Cenotes tour. The guides were fantastic. The caves were beautiful and we learned lots. It was followed with a Mexican lunch and then Tequila seminar and tasting. Everyone in the family , ages 13-50, had a great time. I gave it 4 stars because the customer service desk was very disorganized. Every time we went with a question about an activity, we were given the wrong information. We were sent to the wrong areas for activities. My husband and daughter did a sushi making class. We were told they just needed the number attending, 2, and not names. We now have a certificate with my name on it, instead of my daughters. It was not explained that there were 2 different days that the class was being offered. My mother could not find the Natural Pain Relief seminar. When she asked, she was directed to the wrong place.
We did some shopping. The vendors want to barter. If you are not ok with this, you will be ripped off. The products (clothes) were priced very high for things you can buy in the US. Sundresses we can buy in the drugstore in Florida for $20, selling for $55 here. The pool was beautiful and there were entertainers all around. The bar was pricey but the service was excellent. If I went again, I would skip the shops and just enjoy the pool.
