We went on the RC because it according to the checklist seemed to have the same things as Disney but cost was much better. It was a huge mistake. The environment was not at all kid friendly. They have things for them to do, but kids are definitely secondary on the boat. There is not a lot for kids to do, the kid areas are really quite small and thus packed with all of the other kids who are stuck on the boat as well. Several activities are for adults only and have age requirements, unlike Disney where you could do everything together.

The cabins were nice, kept clean. The staff was good. The dinners were great, but again very deceiving as far as kid friendly. Each dinner took about 2 hours, so by the time you were done, the kids were practically rolling on the floor throwing food they were so bored and if you weren't busy enough watching out for your own kids, there's everyone else's kids who are bored and having melt downs. They don't even offer crayons for the kids to color with anymore because they drew on the tablecloths. If it's just adults, the cruise is fine, with kids, disaster.

The other problem is everything has a fee. Lots of fees. When you book the cruise, they tell you things like room service food is free, you can order all of anything you want - that's true, but what they don't tell you is that there is a delivery fee of $8 per order. That makes your midnight snacks add up fast. Also restaurants change. This one is free during these hours and then after a certain time you pay for it and they were not very up front at all about the charges. Several times we almost got charged and then we realized that this or that came with a fee.
