St Petersburg port was the reason for choosing this cruise and it didn't disappoint. We had 5 days of port excursions in 5 days. Exhausting but worth it. Glad we booked our independent tours in St Petersburg and Gdansk despite being told repeatedly that we had to go with a Princess tour. Not necessary because Alla Tours supplied all the relevant visa wavers. Brilliant tour guide and small group with our own mini bus.We were very disappointed with the information given on board about the various ports. Luckily we had done our homework before so knew how to visit each independently. Cheaper than Shore excursions and you can plan your own time and interests.

We have been on Crown Princess before but did find that this time it felt tired and in urgent need of refurbishment. The carpets and bathrooms require replacements.

Embarkation was quick and most efficient, in fact we were on board in less than 20 minutes.

Cabin OC

Small but adequate for 2 people. With 4 inhabitants it would be very tight.

Ideal position for the International Cafe and the Plaza.

Port Reviews

Brugge (Bruges)

Stayed in Zeebrugge with just a walk from the ship. Lovely way to settle into our cruise

Copenhagen

Pleasant walk around with great things to see. Plenty for all interests.

Stockholm

Walked into the old town, took the local ferry at a very reasonable cost. Spent hours looking around the Vassa Museum before returning the same way. Relaxed and enjoyable day. Later found we could have made it even easier with the hop on hop off blue boat.

Tallinn

Lovely old town. Great markets at reasonable prices. Really interesting and easy to walk to.
