Was an interesting and pleasant cruise for such a large ship and large number of guests onboard. Ships staff did an excellent job in keeping things moving but due to large number of guests there were still waiting times during peak hours along with shows or events which you had not reserved seats or a time for an activity which made it hard to do things on the spur of the moment.

Standard dining was excellent, but again you needed to reserve a time to do so, and specialty dining seemed a bit high priced for the experience but again one had to reserve a time slot. Public areas such as pools, hot tubs and gaming areas were extremely crowded during 'at sea' days as well as areas on deck for relaxing or exercising.

However with a large number of outside veranda cabins views and the ability to relax was just on the other side of your sliding door.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Cabin was spacious with room to recline and relax on your outside deck area. Bathroom area was small but you did not feel cramped when using it. Cabin had two (2) chairs along with the bed which were all comfortable. Had ample drawer space as well as closet space for storage.

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Live in PA and only used Bayonne as an embarkation and disembarkation port. However was very impressed with the speed of both boarding and disembarkation for such a large number of guests.

St. Maarten

Enjoyed a semi private tour around Island that was very interesting and educational. With only time restraint was arriving back at ship prior to departure.

San Juan

Did self guided walking tour and shopping, however a number of stores were closed because of our arrival time. Walking tour was pleasant with exception of the odors of the city.

Labadee

Was not a pleasant stop for a highly touted 'Private Beach', free beach areas were in high demand, short water front sand areas and getting into the water was tough do to rocks on the ocean floor that tore up the bottoms of your feet. Beach BBQ was short on ice for drinks unless you ordered an alcoholic drink, and food served was only warm and not same quality as provided onboard. Also if you took the connecting trail from beach to beach you were hounded by salesmen trying to get you into their shops to buy something. Also in a 'cashless' environment on a 'Private Beach' to get anything other than an alcoholic drink you needed cash.
