We travelled on the Riviera for the first time last year and loved it so much we had to sail again with them and we were not disappointed.
The Food, Service, Cabin & Entertainment were as good as last year.
The itinerary provided us a port intensive cruise which we enjoy allowing us to walk around local port at our leisure & hop back on the ship for a bite to eat when we wanted too.
When we first arrived at the port we accessed the ship within fifteen minutes on arrival & went straight up to the Buffet where there was a fantastic display of foods to wet our appetite. As usual the staff were very attentive and helpful & this continued throughout the whole cruise.
When we were allowed into our cabin where again this didn't disappoint. The well appointed Bathroom with a BATH! and separate shower, the ever so comfy bed with a mattress that just hugs you with everything prepared for the cruise ahead.
Personally we were very happy with the standard of food provided in all restaurants with the standard of service in all areas second to none. The staff could not have been more helpful & accommodating.
We didn't participate in any of the onboard activities with the ships staff but enjoyed playing golf & shuffleboard with our friends.
We went to all the shows in the evening & enjoyed them all with the Ship's crew putting on some excellent productions with the last show being tremendous.
The Public Rooms were always very quiet but immaculately presented at all times.
As mentioned the service was excellent at all times with everyone always greeting you with a smile & always available for short chats with a couple of the staff remembering us from our first cruise on the Riviera last year!
The shore excursions on the ship are expensive but as these were included within our cruise package this didn't affect us.
Beautifully appointed with a Bathroom with a BATH!
Just wandered around Livorno & had a coffee
We didn't stop in Portofino due to bad weather but went to Genoa instead & had a pleasant stroll around the city & visited the Cathedral which is certainly worth a visit.
Strolled around looking at the very expensive shops, cars & houses.
What a beautiful place to visit.
Walking tour around Aix-en-Provence which was informative but not too strenuous. We stopped off & had a nice lunch ( Not included on excursion) in a cafe close to the roundabout where we were meeting..View All 115 Aix-en-Provence Reviews
Drove around Marseille & finished at the Basilica at the top of the hill where we had amazing views of the city.
Drove back down where we only had half an hour of free time which isn't really enough time to do any shopping. That was the only drawback for my wife but saved me a fortune!!View All 75 Marseille Tour Reviews
Wandered around City. Although we were warned about pickpockets we didn't feel worried at anytime.
Ibiza South Tour. This was a little disappointing. We visited some salt flats & a beach as we drove to a lovely little village and arrived just before the church service started so managed a peek inside the old church & then had a coffee in a lovely little courtyard with flowers & palms. Very idyllic. The guide was good but a little to quick for some of the older people on the tour leaving them behind. Also being Sunday the few shops that were there were closed which some people complained about but this was not a worry for ourselves.
We then went to San Antonio which we would have been happy to just drive through but had too much free time there. If I was 30 years younger, maybe, & I was one of the younger ones on the tour! Maybe worth adjusting to just driving through rather than stopping!.View All 9 Island Tour Reviews
Boat Ride along Amalfi Coast excellent. The tour guide was very knowledgeable but was a little too much stopping in some areas with no shade to tell us the history of the area.View All undefined undefined Reviews
Didn't stop in Rome
