Sail Date: Jun 2017

We returned from a fifteen day cruise, "Into The Midnight Sun" from Bergen to London on the Viking Star. We had sailed on this ship soon after she entered service in 2015. It was a Christmas cruise on the Mediterranean. While the very talented singers, dancers and other acts were great, their material wasn't. The same (not first class) shows that we saw two years ago were replayed on this last cruise. They were stale then and even more so now. The spy show was stupid...not funny ..not even entertaining. The Ship's entertainers, including the couple who sang in the night club, the Assistant Cruise Director and Cruise Director produced a fabulous "Salute To Broadway" that had everyone on their feet. FINALLY!!! a production which showcased their talents, rather than wasting it Viking should be ashamed to ask customers to return, when they can't be bothered to even provide a worthy entertainment experience. Once was a disappointment. Twice and you're losing a customer. The ship, the cabins, the food, the excursions and especially the staff were all amazing. This is a corporate failure.
