We went to Russia on this cruise ship. My mum has a bad leg and can't walk far. It was very good and the ship was clean. We was at the back on deck 9. Inside cabin was nice with a good choice of TV channels, BBC World and CNN. Food in the Windjammer was good, me and mum filled ourselves up most nights. The main dining room was not all that good so we just went for the formal evenings. Crew friendly, drink packages not worth it plenty of hot drinks, and lemonade to drink. Went on 2 small few hour tours in St Petersburg, The process is long getting people off the ship. THIS IS NOT THE CREW TO BLAME. The Russian Port needs passports to issue a entry slip. The lines are long and the tour coach was very hot the first day. At end of day you can easily do the rest of ports on own. Oslo walk in 15 mins, Copenhagen walk in 30 min, Helsinki walk in maybe 30 min, Tallinn step of the ship. St Petersburg need VISA and I would say just book with RCL or another operator. Southampton is ironically the worst but once your on ship its ok.
