This was our first cruise. We had been promising ourselves that one day we would do a Baltic cruise and when the opportunity to do it with my sister and brother-in-law we jumped at it. They had already booked so we just booked the same - in fact we had cabins next door to each other. As first timers we didn't really know much about the different cruise lines and, to be honest, I had never heard of Celebrity! But what a find! We felt so at home from the moment we boarded, the crew were so friendly and always smiling!

Eclipse is a beautiful ship - everything is clean and tidy. We soon found our way around her. Our cabin was lovely with a good sized bathroom, room to put suitcases under the bed and good storage over the bed. I did find drawer space rather limited though. Our cabin steward was excellent and had a great sense of humour.

We chose early dining but in hindsight we would have preferred select dining as 6pm was too early and 8.30pm too late. The food was excellent in the Main Dining Room and the service was brilliant. We ate in Murano and Tuscan using a special on-board offer. We preferred Murano to Tuscan though Tuscan has an amazing view as it goes right across the stern. Read more
