When our neighbours told us they were going on this cruise and suggested we join them we thought why not, it's almost our silver wedding......so GLAD WE DID!!! Our first time with Oceania after several family cruises with Royal Carribean, Costa & Princess we were unsure what to expect. Answer - luxury, FABULOUS food, beautiful ship. We were in a penthouse suite with butler and were greeted with the customary champagne and canapes. Service and food was quite sensational. Entertainment was so so. Our cruise was 1/2 empty which meant dining in whichever dining room we wished - Asian was the favourite - watermelon duck salad - amazing. The age range was pretty old and our kids would not have enjoyed themselves on the ship as it was far too quiet. The shore excursions were variable - some good (Buenos Aires tour) some poor (Porto Bello). I was amazed at the sight of elderly folks snorkeling then clambering up the ropes back onto our galleon ship proving you are never too old!! All in all, excellent cruise. :)
Cabin was fabulous and spacious. Loved the huge walk in closet and large bathroom. Bed was so comfortable!!!
Interesting place. We did a tango tour here as well and enjoyed seeing the city by coach

Excellent tour of the city - the Paris of South America lives up to its reputation. Well worth a visit. The mauseleum is amazing and the highlight. We toured the nearby modern art gallery ourselves and it was really cool.
